11/17/2019 3 Comments Apple SnickerdoodlesApple picking season may be over, but cooking with apples never gets old. It’s so comforting to cozy up in the house while there’s an apple pie or apple crumble baking in the oven and the delicious fruity aroma fills the room. I think we could all use a little bit of comforting from time to time, especially during the month of November. My workplace is really big on potlucks, so I made these apple snickerdoodles for our Thanksgiving party a couple weeks ago. They were a frank success. I put the box on the table and first thing I knew, everybody had a cookie in hand and they were reaching for seconds. In just a matter of minutes, every single one of these soft and chewy cookies had disappeared. Tempted yet? I love snickerdoodles because there are so many variations possible, and they always turn out so good. These combine the seasonal flavors of ripe apples and cinnamon, an irresistible combo. They are great to bring somewhere to share or offer as a gift, but they are even better warm, with a tall glass of milk. Believe me, you won’t be disappointed. Out of all the recipes I’ve shared on this blog so far, this one is my favorite (that, and the lemon shortbread cookies). Extra tips:
If you have a family or roommates, you might want to double this recipe and make an extra batch, because there’s a very high probability that the first batch will disappear in a flash. I hope that you like these, and as usual, if you end up recreating this recipe, use the hashtag #teaandmascara and tag me in your photos. Love you all! Much love,

Yes, you absolutely can! You can either freeze the balls of dough without the sugar coating, or bake the cookies, let them cool completely and put them in the freezer. ?
