Kombucha Cocktails

The holidays are usually the occasion to gather and raise a glass to one another. You can’t go to a Christmas party and avoid having some sort of drink in your hand at some point. It’ll be a little different this year – a little more intimate, but we can still celebrate regardless, which means that we can still enjoy a glass of our favorite cocktail around the Christmas tree. 

My love for kombucha is no secret at this point. It is such a treat for me, I’d take a cold bottle of kombucha over a fancy cocktail loaded with alcohol any day. There are so many great companies out there right now (and a lot of them are small businesses!) and it’s almost like there’s this big competition for the best flavor, because they all come up with the most exquisite combinations. So why not use kombucha as the foundation for your holiday drinks this year? It’s packed with flavor and festively sparkly. Love, love it. I came up with a few cocktail ideas (and mocktails!) starring my favorite kombuchas; these are perfect for the holidays, to celebrate Christmas or to welcome the new year (we’ve been waiting for you, 2021!). 

*Hibigin and Blushing Hibiscus are two cocktails with alcohol. Effervescent Minty Green and Ginger-phoria are two mocktails.
