Summer Nail Polish

Picture
Today, I thought I would share a few of my favorite nail polish that are perfect for summer. I always look forward to summer collections because they are full of bright colors that you don’t get to wear often. Hot pink, bright orange, deep blue... Nothing is off-limits. And yes, I am the kind of girl who tries to match my outfit to the color on my nails. But since summer clothes are so colorful, I feel like it’s okay to have nails that are just as lively. Have fun!
  • Essie “Naughty Nautical”
This color is too cute. Honestly. It is rich and opaque (I hate sheer nail polish), it has a little bit of glitter, and it is the most gorgeous shade of teal. I also feel like Essie people did a really good job at naming this nail polish, because it truly reminds you of a day out at sea.

  • Bizou “Tahiti”
This is my go-to summer polish for my toes. The unusual color catches the attention and your feet just look ready to party. Whenever I wear sandals, or am barefoot, I always get a ton of compliments on this color.

  • Revlon “Cha-Ching”
I love Revlon nail polish, because they are rich in color, they are thick enough to only need a couple of coats, and they have a great lasting power. This particular shade is the perfect in-between: it is light, yet vibrant; elegant, but fun; and it looks good on every skin tone. I feel like it is equally appropriate for a day at work or for a barbecue with friends.

  • Bizou “Jet Set”
Yes, a red nail polish, how predictable... But it’s not just any red nail polish! It is the perfect summertime red nail polish.  It is bright, fun and elegant, all at the same time. Moreover, the color is rich, but light enough to stray from any potential christmassy vibe. A red nail polish that doesn’t scream Christmas? Come on, I had to talk about such a rare find.

  • Essie “Between the Seats”
While it is fun to experiment with vibrant colors during the warmer months, it’s also nice to tone it down sometimes. I like this color because it is clean and sophisticated. And the best part? It looks amazing against tanned skin.

Let me know what your favorite summer shades are!
Much love,
